Demonstration versions of OSCAM Ship v7.0 and OSCAM Air v3.0 were released in July 2006 . These tools can be run direct from a CD and are intended to raise interest in OSCAM by demonstrating some of the software's capabilities to potential users and encourage interested analysts to: attend OSCAM training; obtain full versions of the OSCAM software; and learn more about OSCAM. The demonstration versions are intended for actual program analysis and have been simplified for use by untrained users by: provision of a pre-loaded demonstration data record and disabling of selected advanced features. Updates are available for OSCAM Air v2.0 and OSCAM Navy v6.0.

The Air v2.0 update is for NMCI users only. This updates Air v2.0, installed on NMCI machines, to the current build version as well as installing the 2006 indexation table. Non-NMCI users who have downloaded from the website should not apply the update.

The Navy v6.0 update is for all users of Navy 6.0 (NMCI and non-NMCI). It corrects a problem of throughput costs not being included when using the aggregation tool. It also includes the 2006 indexation table.
